Common App Essays College Lists Proofreading
Hello, I'm Sophia, an incoming freshman at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Public Health and Economics with a minor in French. I scored 1520 on the SAT (780 Reading & Writing). In addition to Hopkins, I was accepted into Brown, Tufts, BU, UMich, and others.
Although I am an American citizen, I grew up around the globe and am thus uniquely situated to help students with similar backgrounds to my own. I completed the IB programme, taking 4 HLs (English Lit, Maths AA, History, and Economics) with a final score of 40.
Over the past year, I've worked one-on-one to guide freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors through the college application process: essay brainstorming, drafting feedback, extracurricular strategy, and building a balanced college list. I am best positioned to help students develop and communicate their personal identities through the Common App and supplementary essays; however, I am also comfortable assisting students with the R&W section of the SAT, their extracurriculars, and forming a balanced (and realistic) college list.
