Refund Policy

We want you to have a good experience on Luminao. This policy explains when you can get a refund. It is part of our Terms of Service. All payments are processed by Stripe; refunds are returned to your original payment method.

If you're not satisfied with a live session, contact us within 24 hours of the session and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. If a mentor misses a scheduled session or it can't take place for technical reasons, you're always entitled to a full refund or a free reschedule.

Essay edits are delivered work and can't be "un-sent," so they work a little differently. You're entitled to a full refund if:

• The mentor doesn't deliver within the agreed time window; or
• The work is clearly low-effort, incomplete, or not what was ordered (reviewed case-by-case).

Once a mentor has delivered a genuine, good-faith edit, the order is not refundable, because the work has already been done. If something isn't right, reach out — we review every request fairly and will make it right when a mentor falls short.

Free 15-minute intro calls are exactly that — free. There's nothing to refund.

Email support@luminao.app from the address on your account with your order or booking details. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can almost always resolve things faster directly. Filing chargebacks for orders that were properly delivered may result in account suspension.
